We are a healing collective led by dynamic cis-queer black women.  By blending ancestral and modern healing modalities that focus on the mind, body, and spirit, In Her Power empowers and supports black women to tap into their innate wisdom to be self-healing, self-generating and self-learning. In addition as part of our IHP community, members grow and build together a sphere of healing and wellness for all black women and in turn a foundation of healing for future generations.

All of our offerings focus on the wisdom of the body, as the body is the place of learning, action, and change.  We offer individual and couple transformational coaching sessions through personalized self-care prescriptions that cultivate community healing and care.

IHP uses somatic methodology, practices, and principles in conjunction with bodywork, sound baths, reiki, yoga, polarity therapy, crystal energy work, and essential oils.  Our commitments are grounded in the understanding of the history that has shaped your present self, honoring your whole being and taping into your life’s energy, joy, and resilience. As Queer Women of Color, we hold space for those of us who live an intersectional life including all sexual orientations, gender identities, body sizes, and folks living with disabilities.

In addition to coaching, we also facilitate various healing retreats for individuals, couples, community care, families, and leaders.  Each curated type of retreat provides an opportunity for attendees to connect and heal with others who face common challenges.
